Bishop L. Keith & Melody Vaughn

               Bishop L. Keith Vaughn is originally from Belton, SC. Four years after his birth, Pastor Vaughn's family relocated to Summerville, SC. In 1979, Pastor Vaughn graduated from Berkley High School in Moncks Corner, SC and lived in the Charleston area for more than 25 years. In 2006, Pastor Vaughn received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastoral Studies from Lee University. Pastor Vaughn has over 30 years of various ministerial experience. He has served as a keyboardist (various locations and singing groups), Young Adult Pastor (Oakley Road Church of God, Moncks Corner, SC from 1989-1994), Senior Pastor (Ridgeville Church of God, Ridgeville, SC from 1994-2007), and currently presides as the Church of God District Overseer for Orangeburg (2007-present).

               In 1985, Pastor Vaughn married Melody Ann McIntosh of Kingstree, SC. Three years later, he and his wife welcomed their son, Jonathan, into the world. 

               The Vaughn’s enjoy working in the yard, creating and maintaining Koi/Goldfish ponds, Southern Gospel music, singing together, LITTLE DEBBIE CAKES, and spending time with their family.




Associate Pastor

Bishop Jonathan K. Vaughn

               From a young child, Bishop Vaughn has felt the call of God leading him through his ministerial journey. He began preaching at 6 years old. By the age of 16, Jonathan was given the opportunity to travel to Africa to preach during a mission’s trip. He is a native of Summerville, SC and an alumnus of Faith Christian School Class of 2006. He has served as a junior varsity and varsity basketball coach and JV softball coach.

               Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry & Christian Leadership from Charleston Southern University in 2009. Upon completion of his studies, Jonathan felt the calling to full-time ministry. Since 2009, Jonathan has served as a youth pastor, both in SC and Pennsylvania, and is presently the Associate Pastor at the Columbia Road Church of God. Jonathan is an ordained bishop in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN and in 2017, graduated with a Masters of Arts Degree in Human Service Counseling from Liberty University.

               On October 6, 2016, Jonathan was blessed with a beautiful son, Micah, who is his whole world. Jonathan believes the best days are still ahead for God and His church.

               Jonathan enjoys spending time with the Lord, preaching, working with FCA, teaching, watching Atlanta Braves Baseball, watching South Carolina Gamecocks sporting events, coaching, and being a willing vessel for the Lord to use.


Minister of Music

Rev. Jason & Anna Hunt

               Rev. Jason Erick Hunt received his call to ministry at age a very young age. Early on in his life, he had a passion for music and ministry. Jason is a Native American from the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina and the youngest of four children. He comes from the Saddletree Church of God, where he was groomed under the leadership of Rev Dr. Millard Maynard, Senior Pastor, and Rev. Tommy Cox, Music Pastor.

               Jason received his Bachelor of Arts degree in American Indian Studies, with a minor in Music (Voice) from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2006. With all plans to teach elementary school in Robeson County, God called him to full-time music ministry.

               Since the start of his full-time ministry in 2003, Jason has been on staff at two Churches of God in Eastern North Carolina. On August 28, 2010, Jason married the love of his life, Anna Whittington Hunt from Lexington, North Carolina. In October 2011, the Hunt’s came to Orangeburg to be apart of the pastoral staff of the Columbia Road Church of God. Since their arrival, Jason and Anna welcomed their first child, Jared Ellis, who was born in 2013. In 2015, the Hunts welcomed their second child, Connor, to the world. Finally in 2018, the Hunts welcomed their third child, Hayden Lucas. On July 24, 2018, Jason became an Exhorter Licensed Minister in the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee.  Jason has a passion for leading other into the presence of the Lord through contemporary praise & worship and directing the "One Voice" sanctuary choir.

               Jason enjoys exercising, shopping, eating at Outback Steakhouse, & Krispy Kreme. Jason also enjoys spending time with his wife and family!
